WALKILL, NY – State troopers have seized cash, 12 pounds of marijuana and arrested four New York City residents after a traffic stop in a parking lot in Orange County, police said.

State troopers from Troop F based in Middletown – which also covers the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland County – stopped a car in the Orange Plaza parking lot in the Town of Walkill at 5:45 p.m. Friday. An investigation uncovered the marijuana and cash.

All four in the car are charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana. They are:
– Jahfari A. Jones, 22

– Hakiym L. Colon, 22

– Candace A. Cannon, 19

– Dashana I. Vailes, 19

They were arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court by Judge Joseph Owen and were ordered held in the Orange County Jail.
