Even as northern New York continues to get pummeled by snow, look for the recent cold spell to ease this coming weekend. The Friends of Harmony Hall have your early holiday shopping needs covered with a Holiday Market at the Ramapo Senior Center, running all-day Saturday and Sunday.

Ol’ Darlin’ handcrafted goods by Sloatsburg’s Kathy Goldman are just some of the many featured items at the Ramapo Senior Center weekend Holiday Market.

The event gets underway at 10 a.m. both days and goes through 4 p.m. The event features handcrafted jewelry, keepsakes, toys, books, and more. With more than 25 specialty vendors gathering at the Senior Center, the Holiday Market is an opportunity to browse and buy from goods not normally available.

The Friends of Harmony Hall is a non-profit organization that supports important restoration work at the historical Jacob Sloats House (Harmony Hall) in Sloatsburg, NY.
