The Sloatsburg Library has stepped up to sponsor the popular springtime Village Wide Garage Sale which brings together residents across the village.

The Garage Sale has in past years has attracted people to Sloatsburg from throughout the area. The sale works by people signing up so that on the day of the sale there will be garage and yard sales across the village. This year the sale will also act as a Library fundraiser to help provide funds for the Library Museum Pass program.

The Village Wide Garage Sale takes place on Saturday, June 2 throughout Sloatsburg at different participating venues.

The Sloatsburg Village Wide Garage Sale, Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with signup for participation extended to June 6.

The Village Wide Garage Sale is a great community-building event that allows residents to unite and hold individual yard and garage sales. The collective sale attracts many people from outside of Sloatsburg.

The official Garage Sale Directory will list all sale locations and participants and will be available at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, complete with location maps.

Maps will be available on the day of the event at Hayward’s Deli, Stone Meadow Inn, Jessie’s Bagels, and the Sloatsburg Public Library.
