The Sloatsburg Senior Center is getting a makeover, but first the Village of Sloatsburg is seeking bids for the job.

A notice for proposals to replace the center’s existing roof, with ancillary work, has gone out to bid to interested contractors. Sealed bids are due on or before Tuesday, March 27 at 2 p.m. and should be submitted to the Sloatsburg Village Clerk. Bids, with a non-refundable $25 deposit, must clearly state on the envelope the contractor’s name and address and the project name: Village of Sloatsburg, Sloatsburg Senior Citizens Center Building, Replacement of Existing Roofing and Ancillary Work.

All bids should meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law and the State of New York. The lowest qualified bid that meets all contract and village requirements will be awarded the job.

Copies of contract documents for this job can be obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk during usual business hours.
