The Annual Tuxedo/Sloatsburg Community Thanksgiving Service will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 7:30 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church in Sloatsburg. Special guest Bishop George Langberg, St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church, Eagle Valley, will lead the service.

The Food Pantry serves the people of the Tuxedo and Ramapo School Districts.

Sponsoring Churches: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Tuxedo; Sloatsburg United Methodist Church, Sloatsburg; St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Chapel, Eagle Valley in Tuxedo; St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Sloatsburg; St. Mary’s-In-Tuxedo Episcopal Church, Tuxedo. All are invited.

Additionally, there will a Thanksgiving Day Eucharist at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Arden, which will take place on Thursday, November 28, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Betty McWhorter of St. Mary’s, Tuxedo, will be the celebrant and preacher. The 1928 Book of Common Prayer and 1940 Hymnal will be used. All are invited.
