Sloatsburger and Suffern High School senior Kevin Jefferson just topped 1000 career points in a recent Mountie basketball win over Clarkstown South. Sloatsburg Mayor Carl Wright congratulated Jefferson’s winning effort, giving a bit of game night color commentary of the occasion in a letter to Sloatsburg Elementary School Principal Mr. Joseph Lloyd, present and past teachers, schools, staff, and students.

Suffern High School continued its athletic excellence as the girls volleyball team finally climbed the mountain in Glen Falls, NY over the weekend to claim a Class AA State Championship.
