Look for your friends and neighbors to put up Sale signs Saturday when the annual Village Wide Garage Sale returns. Don’t mind the cloudy skies.
Sloatsburg Scholarship Fund yard sale maps can be picked up at Hayward’s Deli, Stone Meadow Inn, Jessie’s Bagels, and the Sloatsburg Public Library — maps list of items and locations for the 30 yard and garage sale sites around the village.
The day long sale is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. and raises fund for the Sloatsburg Scholarship Fund, a local non-profit organization that sponsors scholarships specifically for Sloatsburg students.

Look for more than 25 Sloatsburg residents to participate. Registration only costs $15 which also includes inclusion in the special program map that details items and locations sales throughout the village.
All proceeds from the event registration fee go towards funding Sloatsburg scholarships.
Sloatsburg Scholarship Fund
The Sloatsburg Scholarship Fund supports local scholarships that range from graduating 5th graders at Sloatsburg Elementary School to Suffern High School seniors, as well as other other Ramapo Central students, and award nominal amounts that go to help offset the initial costs of higher education.
The winning high school students will receive their awards at the annual Evening of Excellence awards dinner and ceremony that takes place at the William L. Ransom auditorium at Suffern High School.
