As the school year winds down this week, Suffern Middle School students lined the hallways and bleachers Friday, June 17, to show one last blast of school spirit. The occasion was the 2016 version of Lip Dub, a project promoted by the SMS Kindness Crusaders, with English teacher Nicole Tarife serving as group advisor.
The music lip sync performance involved the entire school and was an effort to sow seeds of community in the hearts of fellow students. It looked like it worked.

The whole production took place this past Friday after months of planning, with the Kindness Crusaders working hard to produce and edit the video which has been making its way across the local social media stream. Last year, the group put together its first all-school Lip Dub for “Heroes (We Could Be)”, which ended with a rousing bleachers student cheer.
