The Rockland County non-profit Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR) selected Colton as the organization’s 2018 New York Hero Award for her tireless contributions to field of health and safety.

Colton has also been recognized by the Village of Sloatsburg for the honor.

Colton will be honored by WCFR at its seventh anniversary Fundraising Gala on October 6 in Nyack, NY, where former popular News 12 weatherman Brysen Van Eck will serve as master of ceremonies.

Many locals know Colton through company FitChick CPR and involvement in the community, including her activity in the Tuxedo, Suffern and Sloatsburg Chambers.
