Mayor Carl Wright welcomed a new Sloatsburg Public Library Trustee on board last week.
Darrell Frasier, who many people know from his Tuxedo store, BackHome Antiques, was appointed to be the 6th member of the library Board of Trustees at a special Village board meeting earlier in June.
“I have always been involved in my community prior to moving to New York several years ago,” said Frasier, who works in customer service at Nordstrom’s as well as operates BackHome. “Now that I’m settled in in a nice community such as Sloatsburg, I’m anxious to serve. I never had the time before.”
Frasier will join the library’s other board members, who include President Jane Thompson, Vice President Joy O’Leary, Secretary Christine Goldman, George O’Dell, and Richard Cook.
