Join in the fireman fun Saturday, October 17 down at Sloatsburg’s Village Hall when the the Sloatsburg Fire Department holds its annual Open House for Fire Prevention.

Saturday’s activities will be kid-friendly and include an obstacle course, a firefighter vehicle extraction demonstration, goodie bags, and refreshments.

The Open House runs from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m.

A free event, Sloatsburg residents are invited to Fire Safety Day to meet and greet local volunteer firefighters and learn about fire prevention. So drop in, have a hot dog and enjoy the action.
