This week features a picture of stairs that lead to nowhere but an empty, tangled yard. This spot is fascinating in that it harkens back to other historical places in Sloatsburg’s past, especially the remnants of Cappermore Farm stone entranceway, located across from the train station. People in the Pine Grove Lakes neighborhood drive past these stairs everyday. The stairs in this picture appear to belong to part of an entry of a what was once a much larger property or entranceway.
