Next week at this time it will be up early and off to school. And don’t forget those school lunches. Now parents can prepay for school lunches and track their kid’s lunch account — no more Jr. pitching pennies with his lunch money. The only hold-up might be the $1.95 that will be charged for each credit card transaction.
Ramapo Central parents can now opt to prepay student school meals with MyLunchMoney.com, a new payment process just launched this year. The online school lunch app allows parents to check on student account balances, set limits and review purchases.
Participation is open to all Ramapo Central students, whether or not parents choose to use the prepayment option. The new app is a convenient feature that enables parents to manage their students’ meal accounts via ioS and Android mobile devices. To get started, simply log on to MyLunchMoney.com and create an account.
Prepay the MyLunchMoney program by credit card: Credit card prepayments can be made with MasterCard, Visa or Discover; a $1.95 fee will be charged for each credit card transaction.
Prepay by MyLunchMoney check: Parents who prefer to pay by check will continue to submit payment directly to their child’s school cafeteria or to the Food Service office in Hillburn. The check amount will automatically be deposited into the student’s MyLunchMoney.com account. Then parents can check on their students account balances, set limits and review purchases.
Non-participating students may continue to pay for their school meals as they have in the past.
