Rococo’s Salon in Sloatsburg shows customers its appreciation

Rococo’s Salon & Boutique is often one of the beacons of light shining evenings in Sloatsburg’s central village. Recently the salon hosted a customer appreciation day to say thanks for the support, with hand crafted goods, refreshments and good cheer.

Building owner and local businesswoman Barbara Berntsen attended Rococo's customer appreciation party.

Owner of the building that houses Rococo’s, local businesswoman Barbara Berntsen attended the salon’s customer appreciation party.

With the holiday season in mind, Salon owner Susie Mcdonagh wanted to give customers their own evening to stroll the salon and take in all its services, surrounded by interesting vendors whose products might also pique their interest.

Kathy Goldman attended with her perfectly crafted Ol’ Darlin’ soaps and salves. Michele Padovani displayed Rococo’s boutique jewelry wares as customers casually shopped through the salon amid  craft displays of chocolates and candies. Guests received nice gift bags of, what else, hair care products.

rococoappreciationdayMcdonagh has been doing business in the village for many years but Rococo’s reflects a modern salon, with high-ceiling rooms bathed in sunlight, hand-painted fixtures and an arty feel. And the customer appreciation day was just that, an effort to show the community some holiday appreciation for its support of the local business.

Rumor has it that everyone’s hair looked wonderful.
