According to police, the SFD responded to a car fire at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning at the darkened end of Waldron Terrace in a wooded property near a service road that leads to the NYS Thruway.
There’s a possibility the incident could be related to some kind of chemical reaction that took place inside the car, such as a flammable mishap. Or the incident could be as simple and tragic as a suddenly overheated engine that caught the occupant literally napping. Or there could be a more nefarious explanation to the car fire.
