Tuxedo-Harriman Shuttle Kicks Off Season Saturday with Pop-Up Party

The Harriman Yellow Shuttle Bus is another step toward making the Tuxedo/Sloatsburg corridor at gateway to Harriman State Park. The effort, led by Suzy Allman of MyHarriman, also partners with A Better Tuxedo and the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce.

The Harriman Yellow Shuttle Bus is another step toward making the Tuxedo/Sloatsburg corridor at gateway to Harriman State Park. The shuttle kicks off another season starting Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22, and costs $5 per ride.

The interior is slowly taking shape, with stacks of bamboo wood flooring in boxes ready for installation and curved bar placement all set. Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence arrested by Rockland County DA and FBI

News broke all across social media Thursday morning April 14 that Town of Ramapo Supvervisor Christopher St. Lawrence was arrested by FBI agents and the Rockland County DA’s office on charges related to the construction of Providence Bank Park.

Stargazing — Sloatsburg’s quietly become a busy film production hub

The Sloatsburg Community Fields has recently become an active production hub for local movie and other entertainment shoots.

Stretching like a small carnival street at the back of the Sloatsburg Community Fields is a series of non-descript trailers. SUVs and and vehicles come and go. Sloatsburg has become a regular production outpost for filming in Western Ramapo and Rockland County. Continue Reading
