The Ramapo Central School District has a visit from Rockland County Jewish orthodox community agent Yossi Gestetner during a late June 2016 Ramapo Central school board meeting.
The Board of Education meeting was at the public comments portion, with part of the evening’s discussion focused on the district’s changes to its transportation policy for the upcoming 2016/17 school year. Continue Reading

Updated: The Town of Ramapo Police are still actively investigating that suspicious Waldron Terrace midnight fire that took place in Sloatsburg, NY early Tuesday morning, June 21.
The Sloatsburg Fire Department was called to the scene of a burning car that included the body of a burned man. The man, later identified 48-year-old Oseen Lavaud, from Orange County. Continue Reading
