With the recent delivery some 150 shiny new Google Chromebooks, the Tuxedo’s STEM Academy has steered a course away from any concerns about closing that will allow all 7-12 grade students to log in and learn. All Aboard: Yellow Harriman Bus Starts Service Around Park

The Harriman Yellow Shuttle Bus is another step toward making the Tuxedo/Sloatsburg corridor at gateway to Harriman State Park. The effort, led by Suzy Allman of MyHarriman, also partners with A Better Tuxedo and the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce.

MyHarriman, joined by partners A Better Tuxedo and the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce, have launched a new Harriman Yellow Shuttle Bus to take Harriman Park hikers deeper into the park.

All aboard — a big yellow bus is all set to take visitors to Harriman State Park for a ride deeper into the park.  Want to stop at Sebago Cabin Camp or the driveway to Baker Camp? No probelm. Want to hit the Long Path Access before lunchtime? Take a ride on the bus.  Continue Reading

Suffern Takes Up Orange Avenue As Other Issues Simmer

While Orange Avenue development project finally makes its way back onto the agenda at Monday night’s meeting, there are other, unresolved issues bubbling about under the Roberts-Rules-of-Order surface. Suffern Youth For Hospice Raises Funds At Hayward’s Deli

Hayward’s Deli chipped in for a bit of community camaraderie this past Saturday morning. The Suffern High School’s chapter of Youth for Hospice put a tip jar out at the local deli and marketplace on Rt. 17 in Sloatsburg — and four hours later had collected some $200 for Hospice of Rockland County.
