The NYSDOT Region 8 is set to provide a Sloatsburg Complete Streets Project informational status update to the Village Board at the Municipal Building on Tuesday, February 13, at 6 p.m.
Sloatsburgers last got together some seven months ago to discuss the on-going Complete Streets project with the New York State Department. Valley Rock Inn & Market will host a Festival of Lights celebration in Sloatsburg on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10.

Welcome the new owners of Sloatsburg Wine, located in the village center shopping mall. Sisters Olga Lukashyk and Iryna Moskalyk have taken on the wine and spirit store and hope you help make the establishment a great success.
There’s more going on at Sloatsburg Wine than you might think. The store tucked next to Hayward’s Deli on the Route 17 byway through Sloatsburg, NY, is a familiar crossroads for locals.
Now Suffern resident Olga Lukashyk, along with family, including sister Iryna Moskalyk, have taken on the wine and liquor store. Iryna mentioned the interesting changes in Sloatsburg as a catalyst to talk Keith Reardon into selling the store. Just say no to buses, trucks and cars whizzing through Sloatsburg’s village center. The NYS DOT has offered residents a transformative opportunity to participate in a Complete Streets Main Street Project that will re-imagine Route 17 through Sloatsburg.
Now is the time for Village of Sloatsburg residents to get up, get involved and get excited.
