Sloatsburg has put out the call to black toppers for proposals to resurface the village’s main commuter parking lot located adjacent to Sloatsburg Station at Municipal Plaza and Mills Street. Bids for the project are due on or before Friday, August 10 at 2 p.m. at the Office of the Village Clerk of Sloatsburg. Bids should be sealed and clearly state the contractor’s name, address and the project name: Village of Sloatsburg, Commuter Parking Lot Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements.
A non-refundable fee of $35, made payable to the Village of Sloatsburg, is required for each set of Contract Documents. Proposals should be accompanied by a certified check, or bid bond executed by a surety company, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the proposal.
The Contract Demand Documents are available at the Office of the Village Clerk during usual business hours.
The lowest qualified bidder meeting the requirements of the contract demands will be awarded the bid, although the Sloatsburg Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal. The Village also reservers the right to reject any proposal that is informal, or waive any informality in the bidding document.
